2 YEAR BLOG-IVERSARY!

Time flies when you never leave the kitchen! Today marks two years of blogging. It's a space I never thought I would enter, but I'm so glad I did. I've been doing this since I graduated college and realized how much free time I had/how I only ever cooked four meals on rotation.

So much has changed in this timeβ€”I started eating meat occasionally, I moved in with J and we got a little (not so little anymore) puppy named Wilbur (follow him @wilburthefluff!). We now have a beautiful kitchen and a DISHWASHER! I entered this blog for an award for the first time ever and WON Best Personal Blog at the Des Moines Hashies. I've adventured, tried, failed, and succeeded more deliciously than ever before.

My goal with this blog has always been to explore my own cooking abilities and push my limits. Along the way, I hope that I have helped novice chefs (looking at you, college students!) and even people wanting to get away from their chicken-and-rice-every-night routines. You'll never regret trying something new!

I'm so excited for what this space will bring for me and for you, the reader, this year. I have a feeling some homemade doggy treats and more crazy almost-vegan recipes are coming your way. As always, don't hesitate to reach out if you have a vegetable or baked good you want me to try!
