REVIEW: BATISTE DRY SHAMPOO

Dry shampoo is a staple in any girl's beauty routine. You already know you shouldn't be shampooing every day, but you definitely don't want to look greasy, ever. Plus, what if you want a little more texture on wash days? Dry shampoo to the rescue.

I've been trying brand after brand, trying to find what works effectively over time. I've found some close runners-up, but Batiste is IT.

From the adorable, vintage-y packaging to the delicious array of scents, Batiste knows what's up. I love the sweet cherry scent, but they're really all wonderful.

Here's the method I've found to work best: spray from about 8-10 inches away and get the roots, hairline, and a tiny amount throughout as needed. Disperse the powder with your fingers like you would normal shampoo, and then brush through the hair.

This should add volume and soak up any excess oils—adapt based on your hair type for best results!

Bonus: using a little on blow-dried hair on wash day adds a little bit extra texture, which is super helpful for curling the hair!

Want to do some sampling of your own? Here are a few other dry shampoo brands I like: Not Your Mother's, Drybar, and Serge Normant.

What's your favorite? Let me know in the comments!

xo,
Morgan
