REVIEW: SHEA MOISTURE SUGAR SCRUBS

HEY GALS. Warm weather is finally here, which means we have to start paying attention to legs and feet again! I actually shaved my legs the other day—big things are happening. ;)

Over the winter, I discovered the goodness that is sugar scrubs. I've tried a few that I really liked, but these from Shea Moisture might just be it.

I picked up two varieties of this hand and body scrub at TJ Maxx (can you tell I head right for the beauty section!?)—coconut & hibiscus and Tahitian noni and monoi. Both smell absolutely divine and I honestly have a little panic attack every time I have to decide between them.

They are both dry scrubs with real ingredients like hibiscus flowers right inside. I keep them in the shower since they're a little messy, and add just a little water before applying. When using on my body, I scrub EVERYWHERE—arms, chest, stomach, legs, and feet. It tingles a little bit but I like feeling when a product is working. The smell hits you right away and makes the rest of your shower so pleasant.

There are oils included in these scrubs, so make sure you can rinse off after (in case you were considering using this not in the shower—which I wouldn't).

Using this on my hands was LIFE CHANGING. Honestly. I'm the kind of girl who uses hand creams, salves, and lotions allll day long and I've never had softer hands than I did after using this scrub.

My routine: apply deep conditioner or hair mask. Tie hair up and out of the way. Apply face mask. Sugar scrub-a-dub. Rinse. Then proceed with body wash, shaving, etc. Doing all of this while the hair treatment and face mask are doing their work is absolutely ideal.
