Happy Tuesday, lovelies! Today I'm reviewing two products from Sephora's in-house line. It's always been my philosophy that a store would create the best products for the line they put their own name on, and these products definitely prove that to be true (at least for Sephora). Read on...
This tiny tube packs a ton of punch. It might seem like an investment at $17/tube, but it's worth it. I'm always looking for something that will eliminate the need for touchups throughout my long days, and this is it. I apply one pump after my moisturizer—before any concealer or foundation is applied. I love the luminous aspect of it—it's enriched with light-reflecting pigments and smoothing peptides to diminish imperfections, brighten dull areas, and keep you glowing and looking flawless LONGER. You. Need. This.
With my dimples, I can't get much done in the way of contouring. Maybe someday I'll find an effective method, but I don't think it's necessary for my face shape—my cheeks kind of look the way they do and I'm cool with it. What I do use is a highlighter. It keeps my face looking fresh all day and lets the light reflect on the right parts of the face. I sweep this baked powder across my browbone, temples, down my nose, and at the apples of my cheeks going upward toward the hairline. It makes me glow and also helps blend if I end up using too much bronzer or blush beforehand. It's available in this pinkish tone or in a more neutral, light tone—you pick which one works best for your skin tone and makeup regimen.
